U11s National Champions 08-09

Tornadoes KC secured their 3rd National Title of the 08-09 season by winning the U11 National Championships.

The event was held in Merton (London) and teams from London, Kent & Milton Keynes battled for the championships. First up was a tough match against Nomads. The nerves showed at first with both teams making unforced errors, but soon the Tornadoes side settled and came out 5-0 winners.

The early win encouraged the players and they breezed through the next 2 matches without conceeding a goal. Next up were local rivals Kingfisher. This was a very competitive match which could have gone either way with both teams creating excellent scoring opportunities, but Tornadoes held their nerve and recorded their 4th win of the day.

Tornadoes played out their remaining matches and were unbeaten throughout the day, scoring an incredible 34 goals, conceeding 1.
